Madrid Airport Hotels
Madrid-Barajas Airport is the main international airport serving the Spanish capital, Madrid. The airport derives its name from the adjacent town of Barajas. It serves as the gateway to the Iberian peninsula from the rest of Europe and the world, and is a particularly key link between Europe and Latin America.
It’s easy to access downtown Madrid from the airport via the metro system. The Barajas Line (Line 8) provides a fast route from Terminals 2 and 4 into the centre of the city. The airport is also connected to Nuevos Ministerios metro station in the heart of Madrid’s financial district. Upon completion in 2009, a single Cercanías (commuter rail) line will link Terminal 4 with Chamartín Train Station and Atocha AVE high-speed train stations.
